Tower of Power, Horns

One of the interesting elements of the band Tower of Power is the evolution of band personnel. Tower of Power is, in effect, the sound of the band. Through the years, a variety of fine musicians have been keepers of that sound.

The horn section from the band has also evolved into it’s own entity recording and performing a veritable Who’s Who of the music industry becoming the benchmark for 'Brand Name' horn sections.

The section line-up features Adolpho Acosta and Mike Bogart on trumpet and Emilio Castillo, Doc Kupka and Tom Politzer on saxophone.
