Darrell Tibbs, Percussion

Darrell Tibbs is an accomplished percussionist whose discography includes Victor Wooten's CD, Soul Circus. Donna Summer's Live and More Encore!, Kenny Loggins' It's About Time, CC Winans, Gonna Get Better, Eric Essix' Southbound, and The Neville Brothers' Valence Street, among many others. Darrell is currently working on an Album project with J.D.Blair

Darrel has toured for many years as the regular percusionist for Donna Summer and also played for for the 2000 Diva's Live concert featuring Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Faith Hill, Mariah Cary, Destiny's Child, Rupaul, Nile Rogers and Omar Hakim. He has also toured with Take Six on drums among many other live performances.

Darrel is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Music Degree in percussion and has been a percussionist with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra performing with such artists as: Itzhak Perlman & Kurt Nikkanen (Violin Virtuoso's), Boris Berman & Pascal Roge (Piano Virtuosos) and the Moody Blues rock band.
