Dan Hochhalter, Fiddle

Born and raised outside of Minneapolis, fiddle player Dan Hochhalter, started out his musical journey studying classical violin, then jazz, bluegrass, and country fiddle. His exposure to many different kinds of music led to his development of a fiddle style that is "outside the box' and unique.

After moving to Nashville in 2002 Dan immediately began touring with Lonestar and stayed with them for over two years. Then in early 2005, he joined up with Gretchen Wilson's band and is still on the road with her.

In addition to live concert touring, Dan has performed on several television shows, including: Late Night with David Letterman, Austin City Limits, Good Morning America, and Grand Ole Opry Live. He is an in demand session player in the Minnesota and Tennessee areas.

Dan also plays violin and Mandolin.
