Doug Bossi, Guitar
Doug Bossi first heard the sound of a
guitar in Spain, where he spent most of his childhood.
Flamenco guitar was everywhere and it was a sound that
appealed to him. When he came to the United States it
was then the sound of early Blues and 70's rock that got
him to pick up the guitar at last. His musical heroes
became Miles Davis, Allan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny, Steve
Morse, Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, and many
of the popular artists of the day. Eventually, Austin
Texas had a certain calling and he moved there to experience
the Blues Mecca of that time. Seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn,
Eric Johnson, Doyle Bramhill Jr, and the rest of the legends
around town really inspired his playing. After several
years, he moved to Los Angeles to start a band with the
famed Bissonette brothers called The Mustard Seeds (inspired
by Kings X). Soon after, Doug had the chance to write
and co produce Into the Light with David Coverdale. Doug
has toured the world (and elsewhere ;) with many famous
artists. He has recently been composing for film and television
while keeping a busy producing schedule.
